Be part of the team that inspires, engages and entertains guests this year at Crisis at Christmas.

Whether you're an arts enthusiast, drama facilitator, sports coach, wellbeing practitioner, ESOL or basic skills tutor; help us create some Christmas spirit in our guests' lives.

Volunteering your time is an enjoyable and rewarding way to spend part of your Christmas. Join us and you’ll be helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation and helping people to take their first steps out of homelessness.

If you are homeless or living in hostel accommodation, Christmas can be a lonely and depressing time. For the past 40 years, Crisis at Christmas has helped to alleviate that loneliness, opening centres across London from 23 to 30 December that not only offer vital companionship, hot meals and warmth, but a wide range of essential services. Over 8,000 volunteers staff the entire event.

Our Activities programme is an integral part of the Crisis at Christmas week.

We have some fantastic spaces in which to run meaningful activities including arts and crafts, dance and fitness workshops, performing arts, creative writing, sports and many more.

Education and engagement can transform the lives of homeless people and Crisis at Christmas provides an exciting opportunity to involve our guests in a range of stimulating activities.

Whether you are an experienced teacher, a dedicated tutor or simply a passionate advocate of lifelong learning we would love to have you on our team.

We also welcome collaboration with arts and educational organisations who wish to facilitate tutorials and group work sessions.
