The ELT Division is a global leader in the provision of multimedia English language teaching and learning materials. Operating in over 100 countries, it reaches millions of teachers and students each year to support the development of English language proficiency.

We are looking for an effective and customer-focussed Marketing Manager to develop and deliver a complete marketing programme for an Assessment portfolio. The post holder will lead major marketing initiatives at regional and global level to maximise sales and return on investment, working very closely with global sales teams.

You will be accountable for delivering outputs including:

planning and implementing print & digital promotional campaigns, including social media and email marketing, on time and within budget
articulating key messages with true customer appeal, informed by strong market knowledge
devising and delivering sales tools and training to OUP’s international sales teams
representing the voice of the market and the customer to marketing, publishing and assessment colleagues
You will need to have a proven track record in a marketing management role, as well as experience in educational assessment, publishing or similar.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to deliver impactful presentations; work collaboratively with stakeholders in diverse locations; manage staff effectively, and influence product development. You will be willing to travel up to 20 days a year.

Desirable skills and experience include:

English Language Teaching experience (in teaching or training)
a formal business or marketing qualification
