Malaysia is as diverse as its culture. Cool hideaways are found in the highlands that roll down to warm, sandy beaches and rich, humid mangroves.
Kuala Lumpur is the federal capital and most populous city in Malaysia. Rated as an alpha world city, Kuala Lumpur is the cultural, financial and economic centre of Malaysia due to its position as the capital as well as being a key city.
Living in Kuala Lumpur is easy for the adventurous expat. There is a basic standard of English among the general population making it easy to get around and with a huge mix of activities from diving in the clear tropical waters of the islands to attending world-class performances at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in the world famous Petronas Towers, Malaysia never ceases to offer something for everyone.
The garden city of Seremban is located about an hour’s drive south of the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. Seremban is famous for its food, architecture and laid-back lifestyle. Close to the popular seaside town of Port Dickson, hot springs and natural jungle and surrounded by rolling hills, Seremban is a choice destination for nature lovers and those who enjoy an active lifestyle.
Emphasis English Academy is a small, rapidly growing, English language centre. Since 2004, we have been developing a reputation as one of the premier English language centres in Malaysia. We have two centres in Malaysia (our main centre in Kuala Lumpur and a branch in Seremban) and are currently recruiting one new full-time teacher for each centre to start in January 2013.
Our academic programs:
* Class size is limited to 12, but average about 7. Most students attend our pre-school or primary school courses but there are also growing numbers of courses for adults. English levels range from beginner to advanced. Students are grouped within their age category (pre-school, primary school, secondary school and adult) and then by their level of English.
* Our school has a comprehensive language resource library.
* Teachers are provided with a comprehensive syllabus for each course but are encouraged to adapt the course for their individual teaching style and their students’ needs.
