The Department of Early Childhood/Elementary Education at Gordon College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant or associate professor position in early or elementary education. Full-time K-12 classroom experience required. Rank commensurate with experience.

Principal teaching responsibilities may include such courses as foundations of special education, foundations of early childhood education, methods of teaching young children with disabilities, seminars in special education, language acquisition, methods of ESL teaching, methods of teaching science or social studies as well as other general education courses depending on the candidates interest and expertise.

Faculty responsibilities include advising students, supervising student internships and faculty assignments on college committees. Faculty are expected to be active in their discipline through scholarly work in their field and should possess an earned doctorate in that field.
