We are seeking experienced English-as-a-Second-Language teachers to join the English Language Center within the Industrial Training department. The English Language Center aims to develop the English language skills of the Saudi Aramco workforce by applying effective speaking and writing skills to business purposes. This is a senior role responsible for classroom teaching and supporting the other language teachers to prepare and present classes to employees seeking to improve their English language skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be able to perform the following: Prepare and teach English language classes using appropriate methodology and teaching aids to achieve the lesson objectives. Prepare test materials, evaluate trainees’ progress and submit regular evaluation reports. Administer, proctor, and grade written and oral performance tests. Conduct Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) classes and incorporate Web based material into the curriculum.

Diagnose individual learning problems, plan remedial work, and guide trainees in appropriate study habits. Maintain discipline, counsel trainees, and deal with various disciplinary problems.

Assist in new teacher orientation, promoting high academic standards and maintain a professional atmosphere within the training center. Contribute ideas and suggestions for upgrading the quality of instruction. Promote trainees’ safety awareness. Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by the principal or senior teacher.

Minimum Requirements:

BA (preferably a Master’s degree) in TEFL/TESL, English, Applied Linguistics or modern languages with a teaching certificate in CELTA/DELTA. Relevant experience of teaching English. Computer literacy is desirable.
