We are recruiting experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers and senior teachers to join our teaching centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting June/July 2014.

These positions are based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur where you will work with learners of English from a large number of different countries. We teach from Beginner to Advanced level, IELTS preparation and Professional English. Teaching young learners from 5-17 years old is also a large part of our operation. In addition there are opportunities for individuals to get involved in teacher training work, as well as in conference presentations.

This is an excellent career development opportunity for teachers and senior teachers ready to broaden their academic and professional skills. The Teaching Centre in Kuala Lumpur benefits from a wide range of teaching resources, and provides many opportunities for training and development, including funding for DELTA, the YL Extension to the CELTA and a full programme of INSETT training. For senior teachers there is a full programme of middle management training.

English work in Malaysia is growing rapidly and the senior teacher position would be an ideal position for an existing senior teacher or a teacher on promotion to get involved in implementing the East Asia strategy and support our growth.

Teachers of English

To be considered you should:

have an undergraduate degree and be TEFL-I qualified (i.e. Cambridge CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL),
have at least two years post-certificate relevant teaching experience gained from a variety of age groups and levels.
be highly proficient in English
be committed to undertaking further professional training
Senior Teachers – Young Learners & Adults

To be considered you should:

have an undergraduate degree and be TEFL-Q qualified (i.e. Cambridge DELTA/Trinity DipTESOL),
have at least 5 years experience which incorporates 2 years post-TEFL-Q i.e. Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Dip TESOL experience
hold a Young Learner certificate i.e. CELTYL TYLEC, IHCYL (for YL Senior Teacher only)
be highly proficient in English
have experience in training and developing teachers
