Educational Project Manager

International House London is looking to appoint an Educational Project Manager in the Product Development Department. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
The Product Development Department is responsible for developing educational products that will give our learners a better experience. These could include new courses, services, delivery channels and learning tools, including (but not only) educational technology projects.
The salary for this role will be £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. You will have 30 (plus public holidays) days annual leave per annum and access to the IH London pension scheme.
The role of the Educational Project Manager is to manage these projects from concept through to launch and implementation. He or she will work with product owners, academic teams and other stakeholders to determine project requirements, develop a project plan and budget, allocate resources, assign tasks, and ultimately assure the final delivery of the project according to the specified scope, time, cost and quality criteria.
Manage and successfully deliver projects in the development pipeline
Determine project scope and requirements
Monitor and communicate project status
Plan and manage educational projects from start to finish
Ensure the successful delivery of projects in the development pipeline
Work with product owners and stakeholders to define and prioritise project requirements
Develop appropriate project plans, schedules and budgets
Provide direction and support to project team members
Monitor and report on project status
Proactively manage risk and change to achieve project objectives
Continually review the development process to identify improvements
The ideal candidate will have:
a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education or Technology
project management experience and/or qualifications
an understanding of agile and iterative development approaches
experience using project management tools such as Asana, Trello and Basecamp
experience working in educational technology and/or product development fields
a background in teaching or training, especially in a language-learning context
