An opportunity has become available within the School, for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering. The Lecturer will focus on Solid Mechanics, Machine Design and Finite Element Analytics using contemporary CAE software. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the academic activities of the School and the College and to pursue a program of professional development consistent with the strategic goals of the School.
To be considered for this opportunity you must possess a PhD in Engineering combined with Postdoctoral research experience in a relevant field. You will have a proven record of academic and/or professiona l achievement in Mechanical Engineering focusing on Solid Mechanics, Machine Design and/or Finite Element Analysis using contemporary CAE software. In addition, you will have demonstrated experience in teaching at tertiary education level and proven ability to develop high quality laboratory facilities to support teaching and research in designated areas.
