Enthusiastic and Knowledgeable Teachers Needed in Tokyo

Lesson4u is an established, privately-owned English Language school with schools across Japan. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable teachers to become part of our Tokyo team. We are a group of teachers who enjoy our work and each other very much, and want someone who can fit that. :)

Students are ages 0-6, with a few scattered private adults. Classes are 50 minutes each, with about five students a lesson.

Position Available: End of June / beginning of July 2015 (looking to fill post VERY quickly)

Visa: Valid visa holders. Tokyo-area applicants (or able to get a working holiday visa) only, please. Renewal sponsorship available. (Working holiday visa countries include Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)

Hours: initially 15 hours per week (4 - 5 days a week for the first 2 months), and 20 hours per week from the third month. Possibility of switching to full time

Salary: 130,000 yen – 200,000 yen depending on experience and working hours

Teaching locations:Tokyo Myougadani(Marunouchi Line),

Toritsudaigaku(Tokyoko Line), Futakotamagawa(Denentoshi Line)

Transportation fully covered

Insurance: Available (about 5,000 yen per month)

The teacher we’re looking for is fun, flexible and adaptable, self-motivating, great with kids, and has a great insight into how English should productively be taught to children.

Ability is more important than experience, and applicants with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. While being a native speaker is not required, non-native speakers must have an excellent knowledge of English, with little to no accent.
