Grantleigh is an independent, co-educational school with a Christian ethos and over 750 students from Gr RRR to Gr 12. Grantleigh serves the communities of Northern KZN including Richards Bay, Empangeni, Mtubatuba, St Lucia & Mtunzini and offers boarding facilities to those who live further afield. Grantleigh seeks to appoint an educator in the following position commencing: 1 January 2017 English Home Language Teacher (Gr 8 *` 12) Experience at Grade 12 level would be an advantage Successful candidate of the above position will be expected to: `Be committed, dynamic, motivated and innovative in the use of technology to enhance learning. `Maintain standards of academic excellence within the department and amongst students; `Be fully committed to the extra mural programme of the school; `Be available and willing to support/partake in most school functions/activities; `Have well developed interpersonal and communication skills. The applicant must have: `An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution and relevant teaching experience ` Current SACE registration `Previous teaching experience in an IEB school would be a recommendation.
