Energetic Teacher Position in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan

If you are a friendly, outgoing person and enjoy working in a lively atmosphere with lots of things going on, you might enjoy working with us.
We have an adult school and also a kids school, plus long term contracts with various organisations including a junior high school in and around Utsunomiya city, about 100km North of Tokyo. You will have the opportunity to teach all ages and professions at all of our venues. Working with us is fun but YOU MUST BE RELIABLE AND HARDWORKING. Full (paid) training will be given.
We have periodic events that are free for teachers...the usual Christmas, Halloween parties etc, and also events such as beer garden BBQs, wine tasting nights, charity gala dinners.
Basic salary is as follows:
250,000 per month
100,000 contract completion bonus
120,000 renewed contract bonus.
Teaching hours are 25 hours a week max.
Working hours 40 hours a week.
There is frequently the chance for extra work if desired.
Paid holidays are Sunday Monday, all national holidays, about 1 week Spring holiday (Golden week plus extra days), Xmas/NY (about 3 weeks), and Summer holidays of about 25 consecutive days in August.
You will need to be a native English speaker and hold a bachelor’s degree. Teaching experience is desired but not essential, as is a driver’s license. We will provide a furnished apartment if required. We will provide visa sponsorship for the right candidate.
We are a growing company yet very selective. We are not Japanese managed.
