I am recruiting a graduate teaching assistant for a three-form entry, South East London primary school. The school's latest Ofsted report assessed them as Outstanding and the standard of leadership and management is comparable with the best in the borough.
They are seeking a strong, confident and engaging graduate who is passionate about education. They want a graduate who are serious about a successful career in education to work as a teaching assistant before starting their teacher training.
You will be taken on as a teaching assistant- supporting pupils in the classroom, carefully guiding and helping them to make good progress in key areas. Being flexible and willing to take on all challenges is a must, as you will be supporting key stage 2 pupils in small groups, or on a one to one level.
Successful applicants will have some experience of working with primary aged pupils in an educational setting- working as a teaching assistant, tutor, mentor, youth worker...Your application will be further enhanced by having experience of working with pupils who have additional or special educational needs- ASD, ADHD, EBD, dyslexia...
