SnapLingo - You can teach on a mobile device, anywhere and anytime!
We’re an American company looking for motivated teachers to deliver awesome English lessons for kids in China. Awesome lessons?
Yep, we believe that the funnier and happier the class is, the more engaged the student will be and the more they will learn.
All the teaching is done over your phone or tablet, there’s no need to leave your house to teach, all you need is a good and stable internet connection and a mobile/tablet device.
What are the minimum requirements?
-Native English Speaker from US, CAN or UK
-Bachelor’s degree (any field)
-At least one year of experience teaching students aged 4-16; or ESL Certification.
How is the job?
You will be teaching 1 to 1 English lessons to Chinese kids. All the material is provided by us. You’ll also need to provide feedback to the student after each lesson.
Can you tell me a bit about SnapLingo?
SnapLingo is an innovative learning platform that provides 1-on-1 online English tutoring by ESL teachers to kids in China.
We also connect kids in the U.S. and China to learn language from each other, matching kids in China with kids in the U.S. based on common interests and potential to become friends for life.
SnapLingo was founded in 2014 in San Francisco, later on getting a U.S. patent pending technology for the platform. We have users in the U.S., China, Canada, U.K., and Australia.
Looks great! How is the work schedule?

Many of our teachers teach around 20 hours a week. We require a minimum of 8 hours per week commitment. The 8 hours per week must be during Beijing Peak Hours.
-EST 6am - 10am (weekdays and weekends)
*For European citizens, that’s the same as UTC+0 11am – 15pm
How is the pay?
The salary range is US$ 16-21 per hour, depending on your qualifications and performance when teaching each month (for example not being late for lessons and received good feedback).
