    Given your PGCE and teaching experience, I believe you would have no problem getting a job teaching abroad.  Most schools ask for a TEFL as part of the employment requirement but that also has to do with getting a work permit/visa for teaching.  Many of these countries will accept a teaching qualification such as a PGCE in lieu of this.
