ESL Teacher looking for full-time position
Dear prospective employer,
I am extremely excited to embark on a journey as an ESL teacher. Currently, I have over a year's worth of experience teaching international students from a wide age group; from elementary school level up to working adults. Personally, I prefer teaching teenagers and adults.
I enjoy learning languages just as much as I enjoy teaching them. As a speaker of number of languages myself, I am sensitive to the role of first language interference to the ESL student. Apart form English which is my first language, I speak Malay/Indonesian, Arabic and Hindi/Urdu.
My approach to language learning is largely student-centric and involves plenty of collaborative learning. I am open to adopting different teaching methodologies and I willing to learn whatever it takes to excel as an ESL teacher. Ultimately, I am confident I shall indeed be an asset to your institution.
I have aacquired the following qualifications/certification thus far:
Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore
Diploma in Tesol from London Teacher Training College (UK)
Advanced Certificate in Teaching Ielts Asia (ACTIA) from The Tesol College (UK).
You can contact me via email for further details.
