    Hi there!

Just wondering if anyone has their DELTA certificate. I am thinking of applying but it is quite costly and time consuming. If anyone has their DELTA certificate, would you agree that it has been worth it?

You know it's not a certificate. It's a bloody diploma!! That's what the D in DELTA stands for. I did mine about 25 years ago - it was the hardest academic study I've ever done. Expensive too. But I did it with what was at the time the best teaching establishment: International House in London. And went on to have a very successful career in TEFL, working exactly where I wanted to work. It opened doors to me then and has held me in good stead since then. It's hard, expensive, difficult but totally worth it. Good luck

I considered it but in the end decided to just go for my Masters in Education since I thought it was more "versatile" in that it is more widely recognzied as a qualification. Also, it would allow me to continue on to get a PhD if I ever wanted to.
