    With regards to assessments for the 4 skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing), it would come down to the course you teach.  What is the focus of the course?  If you are mostly conversation with some reading comprehension, your test should reflect that.   Another factor would be preference of the school.  Many schools love speaking tests to assess ability.  That being said, speaking tests are time consuming and very subjective.  Best to use an accepted model/rubic for speaking.
